SPECIAL EVENT: Day Trip to Ouray, Colorado
Wednesday, July 11, 2007; 10 AM–6 PM
To honor the 50th anniversary of the publication of Atlas Shrugged, Objectivist Conferences invites
you to participate in this special day trip to Ouray, Colorado—set in the dramatic valley that inspired Ayn Rand's image of
Galt's Gulch.
After a bus ride to Ouray (about an hour from Telluride), we proceed to Box Canyon Falls, a
breathtaking waterfall carved out of limestone by the rushing waters of Canyon Creek. Lunch will be held at Ouray Elks Lodge, where
selected passages from Atlas Shrugged will be read. Two hours of free time to tour Ouray will follow.
This tour will be your unique opportunity to experience the valley around Ouray that Ayn Rand
described in Atlas Shrugged—you won't want to miss it!
